It's not long now before the start of the JOGLE2010 cycle ride. This time next week we should be on our way from Helmsdale to Beauly....

Tue 24/8 - Day 0 - Thurso to John O'Groats - 18 miles - warm-up ride
Wed 25/8 - Day 1 - John O'Groats to Helmsdale - 54 miles - Start
Thu 26/8 - Day 2 - Helmsdale to Beauly - 66 miles - second longest ride
Fri 27/8 - Day 3 - Beauly to Fort William - 64 miles
Sat 28/8 - Day 4 - Fort William to Oban - 55 miles
Sun 29/8 - Day 5 - Oban to Kennacraig - 55 miles
Mon 30/8 - Day 6 - Kennacraig to Ayr - 47 miles - includes two ferry crossings
Tue 31/8 - Day 7 - Ayr to Dumfries - 47 miles - a hilly ride
Wed 1/9 - Day 8 - Dumfries to Carlisle - 34 miles - end of 1st stage of route, now in England - an easy ride
Thu 2/9 - Day 9 - Carlisle to Kendal - 50 miles- the highest ride - Kirkstone Pass (1494ft)
Fri 3/9 - Day 10 - Kendal to Croston (nr.Preston) - 58 miles
Sat 4/9 - Day 11 - Croston to Dones Green (nr.Northwich) - 46 miles
Sun 5/9 - Day 12 - Dones Green to Coalport - 64 miles
Mon 6/9 - Day 13 - Coalport to Newent - 64 miles - end of 2nd stage of route
Tue 7/9 - Day 14 - Newent to Bristol - 53 miles
Wed 8/9 - Day 15 - Bristol to Taunton - 53 miles
Thu 9/9 - Day 16 - Taunton to Okehampton - 51 miles
Fri 10/9 - Day 17 - Okehampton to Newquay - 67 miles - the longest ride/day!
Sat 11/9 - Day 18 - Newquay to Land's End - 47 miles - Finish
Sun 12/9 - Return home and sell bikes!
